Liquid Facelift
For patients in Irvine, Orange County and the Inland Empire that want to reverse telltale signs of aging on the face but aren’t yet ready to commit to surgery, a liquid facelift is an excellent rejuvenation procedure that can restore a naturally youthful appearance – all without invasive surgery.
What is a liquid facelift?
A liquid facelift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to temporarily rejuvenate your facial appearance and reverse telltale signs of aging. It restores facial volume, reduces wrinkles, and provides a degree of facial rejuvenation. A liquid facelift involves the use of BOTOX, Dysport, or Xeomin (neuromodulators) to reduce frown lines, worry lines and platysmal bands that can tighten your neck. Additionally, this procedure can reduce or eliminate crow’s feet and lip lines. It may utilize dermal fillers to lift your cheeks, restore lost volume, and correct sagging skin.
You may want to consider a liquid facelift if you have:
- Drooping facial contours and sagging skin.
- Reduced volume in your cheeks and mid-face region.
- Fine lines and wrinkles.
What types of injectables are used?
BOTOX Cosmetic. During a liquid facelift, BOTOX is used to treat wrinkles on the forehead, in between the eyebrows and around the eyes, by reducing activity the muscles that create wrinkles. When performed with a precise hand, BOTOX allows patients to maintain their freedom of expression while appearing less wrinkled.
Xeomin. Xeomin is also used to treat moderate wrinkles and fine lines on the forehead, in between the eyebrows and around the eyes. However, this option contains no additives, making it an ideal alternative for patients who are prone to allergic reactions or have developed antibodies to BOTOX.
Voluma. During a liquid facelift, Voluma is often used to address sagging cheeks and a loss of volume on the mid-face region. It instantly restores your youthful facial contours, providing a natural lift and creating enhanced cheekbones.
Perlane. For patients who have moderate to severe facial folds from the nose to the corners of the mouth, Perlane is used during a liquid facelift to restore volume and fullness to the skin in that area.
Kybella. Kybella is used to reduce the appearance of a double chin and create a youthful and defined jawline by eliminating excess fat on the neck.
Results
After your Inland Empire non-surgical facelift, you can expect to appear up to ten years younger when you look in the mirror. Any lines, wrinkles and hollow areas on your face will be corrected, and overall you’ll appear more refreshed and well-rested. In addition, your beautiful new appearance will be extremely natural – never overdone.
However, because the liquid facelift is performed with dermal fillers and BOTOX, the results are not permanent. You’ll need to repeat the procedure every few months to maintain your smooth and beautiful new look.
